Blake Salzman is a Canadian-American writer and director based in Los Angeles.

His filmmaking work has been screened at various international film festivals and featured online by outlets such as Filmmaker Magazine, Pitchfork, and Entertainment Weekly. Blake's most recent short film, Midwife, premiered at Telefilm Canada’s showcase at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. On top of his own narrative projects produced through his ECLECTIVE banner, Blake works as a freelance copywriter and graphic design artist, specializing in treatments for commercials, television and feature films. Some of Blake’s director clients include Spike Lee, Dustin Lance Black, Peter Berg, David Leitch, Carl Erik Rinsch, Ramaa Mosley, Nabil Elderkin and many others.
